Signage

Building Signage

A mark that has to work at forty metres and at arm’s length.

The brief

Create signage that keeps the brand clear and recognisable across different sizes, viewing distances, mounting conditions and lighting environments.

Our approach

We test the mark at the distances it will actually be read from, then adjust weight, spacing and the size relationship between the wordmark and its subtitle for fabrication.

The creative system

Minimum sizes, clear-space rules and mounting heights defined per sign type, with fabrication drawings that specify material, return depth, fixing and illumination.

Applications

  • Fascia and projecting signs
  • Reception lettering
  • Wayfinding
  • Fabrication drawings
